The World Is Quiet Here

J: This is going to sound really stupid.
E: Just tell me.
J: The other day, I saw some kid with the same hair color as you. In that moment, I knew I wanted to call you. It was weird. Something about hair color. I didn't call though.
E: That sounds like you. Definitely something you'd say.

E: Why do you think I know you so fucking well, back and forth? Because I learn and allow my brain to absorb knowledge.
Always have and will
E: Goodnight, take care of yourself. I love you.
J: I love you too, E.

E: You just need to learn how to behave in a public setting. I know you've learned how to filter yourself online, but I want you to promise that you'll do better. I believe and know you can, given the person you are now.
20 April
J: It's like a ball pit. Do you know what I'm referencing?
E: Of course I do.
-
J: It feels so surreal to talk with you right now, at this time.
E: That's because it's all a dream. It'll all be gone when you wake up.
J: But I don't want it to go away. You don't either.
E: Yea I know, I miss you.
J: I miss you too.
-
J: It sounds stupid to say this, but a year ago, I kept telling myself I would be happier in a year's time. Here I am, a year later and I am definitely happier. However, time doesn't phase certain things. Some things will always be the same.
E: You're absolutely fucking right.

E: It's just wonderful to see how far you've come. I know you're confident and it makes me glad.
-
J: I know how you think. That's why I said some things never change.
E: I can't come up with something as sharp to throw back at you, so congratulations.
-
J: It's nice to talk with you. Your blanket voice is comforting. You're using the same voice you use when we talk under a blanket.
E: Yea, I miss your voice.
J: I do too. And I'm sure you do me, especially when my voice sounds all sick like this
-
E: Fight for your willpower, since it will be hard for someone like you who will be working, going to school and paying for rent. It's easy to lose willpower with all of that going on, but I believe in you. I know you can do it. You've made it this far.
friend: how far have you gone with a boy
me: in miles or kilometers
